BTW means “by the way.” In texting and on Snapchat, people use it to add extra information, introduce an afterthought, ask a related question or move the conversation to another topic. For example, “BTW, are you coming tonight?” means “By the way, are you coming tonight?” The abbreviation has the same basic meaning on Snapchat,…
Snapchat Dark Mode replaces the app’s bright interface with a darker color scheme that can feel more comfortable at night or in a dim room. It is available through Snapchat’s built-in App Appearance setting on supported Android and iPhone versions, so you do not need Snapchat+, a modified app or a dark-mode APK. To enable…
You may have noticed a black star beside someone’s Snapchat name, heard friends talking about Snapchat planets or wondered whether Snapchat+ can reveal who keeps rewatching your Story. These are some of the main reasons people become interested in the subscription. Snapchat Plus has changed a lot since it first launched. It now includes friendship…
If you see a small 👀 icon under your Snapchat Story, it means that one or more friends watched your Story again. Snapchat calls this the Story Rewatch Indicator. For example, “ISTG I didn’t screenshot your Snap” means the sender strongly wants you to believe their denial. ISTG does not have…
If you see Saturn while checking a friend’s Snapchat Solar System, your Bitmoji occupies the sixth planet position in that person’s Best Friends order. Saturn is usually displayed as a golden-yellow planet with large rings, making it one of the easiest Snapchat planets to recognize. The Saturn position is not permanent, and it does not…
You open Snapchat, check your friend requests and notice “Added by Mention” under someone’s username. The confusing part is that you may not recognize the person or remember anyone mentioning you. So, what does by mention mean on Snapchat, and how did that person find you? “Added by Mention” generally means the person opened your…
